Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. After she had converted to Judaism, they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large presence on social media.
